Brooke Thompson, a member of the BHHS girls swim and dive team, has set a new school record in the 500 meter freestyle swim event with a time of 5:22:54. Brooke is a sophomore student at the International Academy. Congratulations, Brooke!
Baseball hitting practice will take place for all high school athletes:

- Wrestling Team Takes 1st in Groves Tournament
The varsity wrestling team traveled to Dearborn to participate in the Dearborn Annapolis team tournament the weekend of January 25, 2020.
For the first time in 10 years after finishing runner-up a number of times, the Black Hawks went 5-0 and won their third tournament of the year.
This improves the varsity teams record to 13-1 for the year!
- Defeated Riverview 42-34
- Defeated Divine Child 76-6
- Defeated Dearborn Fordson 51-23
- Defeated Annapolis 45-32
- Defeated Clarenceville 63-15
Cole Rodriguez, Ben Perry, Jordan Jones, Garrett Jansen, Nathan Reynolds all went 5-0 to take home a gold medal. Alex Aaron earned a silver finishing 4-1, Charlie Psenka, Justin Tioran, Lucas Abiadal, Lukeman Kohler, and Jay Bland went 3-2 to win a bronze medal for the varsity team. Lukman Kohler went 4-1.
Come support this hard working team this Wednesday, January 29, at 5:30 p.m. at home as they compete against Farmington and North Farmington. They will also be honoring their five seniors: Ben Perry, Spencer Pazner, Lukeman Kohler, Jay Bland, and Mason Frost.

Congratulations to the Black Hawks wrestling team for earning 1st place (out of 28 teams) in the Garden City tournament! The 9th and 10th grade champions outscored the second place team by 50 points! BHHS wrestlers earned the following:

Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team for their dominating 52-16 win over Troy on Wednesday, January 8, 2020! Alex Aaron, Ben Perry, Justin Tioran, Aidan Warren, Nathan Reynolds, Connor Brandon, and Josh Wilson all won with pins. Charlie Psenka, Jordan Jones, and Marc Bland all won by points. The wrestling team is 1-0 in the league. Go Black Hawks!
Congratulations to the Black Hawks wrestling team for taking first place at the Birmingham Groves ten team tournament on Saturday, December 14, 2019. It was a dominating performance. Bloomfield Hills won all five of their dual meets by the following scores:
- Beat Fraser 69-9
- Beat Troy 41-20
- Beat Southfield 72-6
- Beat South Lyon 66-17
In the championship match, Bloomfield Hills beat Troy Athens 60-21!
The following varsity wrestler went undefeated:

Special congrats to Justin Tioran for not being scored on the entire tournament and being voted by all the coaches competing that day as the tournament MVP.
The JV team dominated the individual ten team tournament that they competed in Saturday as well. They finished in first place with 117 team points. Troy took second place, with 62 team points, and third place went to Lamphere with 60 points. Great job guys.
