A Midsummer Night's Dream

Bloomfield Hills High School Broken Leg Theatre proudly presents: A Midsummer Night's Dream! Performance dates are Friday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, May 11, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

Dancing with the Staff 2019

BHHS Student Leadership recently hosted Dancing with the Staff! The following high school teachers busted out their dance moves and music performances to raise money for Student Leadership: Mrs. Bitterman-Wenson, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Collis, Mrs. DeAngelis, Mrs. Deluca, Mrs. Greer, Mr. Huhta, Mrs. Jones, Mr. Klein, Mrs. Lauter, Ms. Matz, and Mrs. Rose. Superintendent Dr. Glass also made a surprise appearance and played the drums with the BHHS Jazz Band!

Color for a Cause 5K Walk/Run

Join BHHS Student Leadership for Color for a Cause, a 5K Walk/Run benefiting Beaumont Children's Skandalaris Family Center for pediatric cancer and blood disorders, on Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at BHHS. A Kids 1K Walk/Run (ages 2-12) will also be held immediately following. Reserve a shirt, register, and/or donate here: Questions? Bring Your Own Dog Charity Park

BHHS Student Leadership will host BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog), an annual charity dog-park event that aims to support Detroit Dog Rescue, Detroit's only no-kill shelter. It will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Franklin Village Park. The minimum entry fee is $3 as a donation to Detroit Dog Rescue. We hope to see you there!

2019 Senior Prom

BHHS Prom 2019 will be held at The Diamond Center at the Suburban Collection Showplace located at 46100 Grand River Avenue in Novi, MI 48374 on May 23, 2019, from 6 - 11 p.m. Doors will close at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served shortly after. Tickets may be purchased during the week of Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3, 2019. No exceptions. Students must complete and sign the 2019 Prom Contract in order to purchase a ticket. For more details visit

Junior Parking Lottery

Attention Class of 2021 (next year's juniors): Class of 2021 students wishing to obtain a parking pass for next year may now apply for the Junior Parking Lottery by completing the information on the Junior Lottery Form on the front page of the BHHS website. Access to this form will CLOSE on Friday, May 31, at 2:30. The lottery will be held June 3 and current sophomores WHO WIN the lottery will be able to purchase their 2019-2020 parking permit June 10-14, AFTER all previous fines and fees have been paid.  This IS NOT a permit to park this year. If a junior wins a spot in the lottery and does not yet have a driver's license, his/her spot will be held upon receipt of their application and payment. Purchased parking permits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. NON-TRANSFERABLE means nobody else may use your parking permit under any circumstances.

Senior Parking Permits

Attention Class of 2020 (next year's seniors): Class of 2020 students must purchase a parking permit for the 2019-2020 school year Wednesday, May 1, through Friday, May 24, in the main office.  Applications are available on the BHHS website and in the main office. ALL previous fines and fees must be paid before a completed Senior Parking Application is accepted. Many of you already have a parking pass for THIS school year, however, you MUST complete a new application AND purchase next year's pass NO LATER than Friday, May 24, if you plan on parking next year.  

Bring your completed application, along with payment, a valid driver's license and vehicle registration to Mrs. Mezey in the main office from Wednesday, May 1, through Friday, May 24, @ 11 a.m.  NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The 2019-2020 parking permit IS NOT a permit to park this year.  If an incoming senior does not yet have a driver's license, his/her spot will be held upon receipt of their application and payment.

Student Leadership Elections

BHHS Student Leadership is looking for student leaders to join our team as 10th, 11th and 12th grade Leadership Representatives for the 2019-2020 school year. If you are interested in joining the 2019-2020 Student Leadership team, please complete the Student Leadership Election Packet and sign up for an interview (new applicants only) time using the link below. Interviews will take place at Bloomfield Hills High School during the school day on Tuesday, May 14, for new candidates only.

Wish Upon a Teen

BHHS Student Leadership is partnering with Wish Upon a Teen, a charity organization that hosts a prom for teens who have life-limiting illnesses. Student Leadership will host a series of events such as a fashion show and spa day, where patients can pick out their outfits and pamper for their upcoming big night. Donations are now be accepted to help purchase outfits, venues, beauty professionals, etc. Donate Today!

Student Athlete Physicals for 2019-2020

Physicals for student-athletes will be offered on June 3, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. at Bloomfield Hills High School for incoming 7th-12th graders. Only those 14+ can receive ECGs. The cost is $20 per physical, or $25 with electrocardiogram. Space is limited and online registration is required at Athletic physicals are mandatory for any student who plans to tryout for a school sport. Submit a "Tot Shot" for the All Night Party

Parents/guardians of seniors: It's time for "Tot Shots" for the Senior All Night Party! This photo should be a headshot of your senior up to age 3 and no larger than 4 x 6 inches. If you submitted a photo to the yearbook earlier this year, please send a different photo. Please include the name of your senior along with the photo in your email to no later than May 1, 2019.

New! Nut-Restricted Zones

Bloomfield Hills High School has designated the Main Commons and Learning Communities A, B, C, and D on both the upper and lower levels as nut-restricted zones. There are students in our building who are highly allergic to nuts or nut products and will be eating in these zones. Please plan snacks and lunches accordingly. We appreciate in advance your full cooperation.
