Testing Out of High School Courses

The Michigan Department of Education allows students the opportunity to test out of high school courses. Students must exhibit mastery of course content by attaining a percentage of 78% (C+) or better on a comprehensive final assessment. Students may also be required to demonstrate mastery through assessments used in the class which may include, but are not limited to, portfolios, performances, papers, projects, and/or presentations. There will be three assessment windows for students to sign-up for test-outs.
