Class of 2020 Yearbook Information

Beginning July 1, the online link to purchase a 2020 yearbook and senior recognition ad opens! Visit to and search Bloomfield Hills High School to order. Yearbook and ad sales will only take place online.

For an additional fee, you can personalize your yearbook with a name stamp, monogram, or icons! 

  • Back-to-School Price (July 1 through September 20): $70
  • Fall Price (September 20 through December 31): $75
  • Spring Price (January 1 through May 15): $80

You can upload photos, write a message and design your recognition ad all online! Prices and ad sizes vary. Early bird prices through December 31. Visit to view all your ad options.

Seniors: Please have your formal senior portrait taken by Focal Point Photography in Farmington (248-478-1113) by January 24, 2020. Seniors who choose to use a different photographer must submit their studio portrait image to Ms. Ossenmacher by December 1. Please follow the portrait specifications sheet. Seniors will not take pictures at Picture Day in September, therefore it is important that you make an appointment.

NOTICE: Mosquito Repellent Spraying

Bloomfield Hills Schools has scheduled the professional application of pesticides for mosquito control at Lahser and Bloomfield Hills High School on Sunday, September 22, 2019. This will include the artificial turf and bleacher areas. The applicator will post lawn signs while spraying and space can be occupied 30 minutes following the spraying activity. Congratulations to juniors Toby Gittleman, Anna Partalis, and Joey Rankin! These three students auditioned for and were accepted into MSVMA's 2019 Musical Theatre Intensive. This workshop, headlined by Catherine Walker, University of Michigan Theatre Department faculty, as well as Jason DeBord, Ann Evans Watson, and Geoff Packard, will be taking place Saturday, October 19, at Plymouth Christian Academy.

Black Hawk Spirit Wear Archive Zip Hoodie

This week's Spirit Wear sale is online at!  Orders placed this weekend can be picked up early next week. Save the Date: On Friday, September 27, 2019, a Spirit Wear sale will take place in the main commons during lunch. Go Black Hawks!

Cap & Gown Order

SENIORS: If you did not place your cap and gown order yet, you will have another opportunity on Friday, September 27, during all lunches in the main commons. Please mark your calendar for this important item on your senior year agenda! There are extra order forms in the main office.

Homecoming Spirit Week 2019 will take place Monday, September 30 - Saturday, October 5, 2019. This year's theme is Board Games. Tickets will be on sale Homecoming week for $15 in the main commons during all lunches. The football game will take place on Friday, October 4, at 7 p.m. For full details visit

Class of 2020 All Night Party

Planning is underway for the Class of 2020 Senior All Night Party (ANP) to be held on June 7, 2020, from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. at BHHS. It promises to be a special night to remember. Professional entertainment, games, food and prizes provide a fun, safe and exciting graduation celebration for 100% of our seniors.

Nut-Restricted Zones

Bloomfield Hills High School has designated the Main Commons and Learning Communities A, B, C, and D on both the upper and lower levels as nut-restricted zones. There are students in our building who are highly allergic to nuts or nut products and will be eating in these zones. Please plan snacks and lunches accordingly. We appreciate in advance your full cooperation.
