The BHHS Theatre Department is thriving this year, with eight students collectively earning more than $1.8 million in scholarships, and theatre students participating and winning awards in multiple virtual festivals. The BHHS International Thespian Society (ITS) Troupe 8055 was awarded the Outstanding Theatre Troupe of the Year in the state of Michigan by the ITS Honor Society. BHHS also participated in the virtual Mid-Michigan Theatre Festival, resulting in multiple scholarship award winners. 

Everyone age 16 and up is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in Michigan now. Oakland County Health Division is recommending using the Save My Spot feature for 16+ to register for the vaccine at this time. The following locations are also offering the vaccine to ages 16+:

Students from the BHHS Community Service Club raised funds for children who have been abused or neglected through an “Egg My Yard” charity event that donated $2,656 to Care House.

Congratulations to the BHHS Gymnastics team for finishing as the top team in their region and taking 5th Place at the State Finals!

The Stewards leadership program at Bowers School Farm and the Johnson Nature Center provide an
opportunity for young adults, ages 14-18 to support camp, develop critical leadership skills and gain
fundamental job readiness experience. Interested students are encouraged to apply by May 1.

Donate gently used sports equipment and board games!  All donations go to Grace Center of Hope.

Bloomfield Hills High School has designated the Main Commons and Learning Communities A, B, C, and D on both the upper and lower levels as nut-restricted zones. There are students in our building who are highly allergic to nuts or nut products and will be eating in these zones. Please plan snacks and lunches accordingly.
