Family Fishing

10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
$10/participant
Enjoy a morning of catch and release fishing with family and friends at the Johnson Nature Center! From 10 a.m. to noon, see what lies beneath the surface during the summer months and engage in some activities that highlight the fishing experience. A limited supply of poles is available to check out during any fishing session. You will need to pre-register on the Johnson Nature Center website.
I Love Dirt! (children ages 5-7)

Explore dirt and get a close-up look at insects, worms and other slimy and wonderful creatures under our feet. $12/child, registration required

Geology Club (children ages 11-16)

Join other middle and high school students to explore the field of paleontology at the Johnson Nature Center! Each 2-hour session will feature a guided hike through the forest and a lab session of studying fossils, scientific discussions, and developing skills used by paleontologists.
$12/person for a 2-hour program, registration required

Join the "Hall of Fame" High School Bionic Black Hawks for an exciting week of robotics! Elementary and Middle Schoolers will experience what it's like to be on a robotics team! Campers will design & build a robot & compete at the end of the week.

On August 25, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m., BHS PTOC will be hosting the Welcome Back Celebration to kick off the school year!
Join for games and fun for all ages including animal visits from Bowers Farm, raffles, prizes, food, a video gaming truck, and student performances! Stay for the Black Hawks home football game against the Seaholm at 7 p.m.
