Technology Access Information

To help support our families with technology access, the district is providing district devices to those families who do not have access to a personal device at home. District devices are available by appointment only. For an appointment or tech support, please email bhstech@bloomfield.org.

Getting Support

Technology does not come without hiccups and we know students will need support during the closure in order to access at-home learning experiences. Please note that support during this time will be different than usual. The BHS Tech Team has created a new email for technical support questions from students. Students experiencing technology issues should send an email to bhstech@bloomfield.org and one of our team members will respond within 24-48 hours.

If devices become damaged, please email bhstech@bloomfield.org and we will create an appointment for you to swap out your damaged/non-operational device.

Internet Access Support

While the district does not endorse any internet service provider (ISP), we are providing information regarding providers who are extending current programs or adding additional/free data rates/bandwidth, etc.

Comcast Internet Essentials https://www.internetessentials.com/

Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Keep Americans Connected Pledge - many of the main communication carriers are providing free hotspots, waiving late fees/payment options,  and providing unlimited data plans for 60-days. Please contact your cell carrier/ISP for any additional information to take advantage of these options.

Thank you for your support of our students as they engage in at-home learning experiences that we hope will enrich their time away from school.
