IF YOUR CURRENT 8th GRADER IS GOING TO WASHINGTON, DC APRIL 15-18: Please attend a meeting on Monday, March 16, from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the BHMS cafeteria. The meeting will address final questions and provide tips and travel suggestions. If your 8th grader is attending the trip, you are highly encouraged to attend. If you are not able to attend and need any additional information, please contact Mr. Neuwirth or Mr. Weisenberger.

IF YOUR CURRENT 7th GRADER IS INTERESTED IN GOING TO WASHINGTON, DC IN THE FALL: Please attend a meeting ion Monday, March 16, from 6:45 to to 7:15 p.m. in the BHMS cafeteria to learn about this exciting and educational trip for next year's 8th graders. The trip will take place October 21-24, 2020. Mr. Neuwirth and Mr. Weisenberger will be leading the group, with additional staff members attending as needed. Students will visit the nation's capital, and learn firsthand about historical figures, landmarks and events. BHMS uses the professional travel company, Student Adventures, to coordinate the trip. The price of $720 per student covers everything on the trip - motor coach transportation, hotel accommodations, most meals, sightseeing admissions, and medical insurance. Registration and trip itinerary information will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If your current 7th grader is interested in the trip next school year, you are highly encouraged to attend the March 16 meeting. If you are not able to attend, you can contact Mr. Neuwirth or Mr. Weisenberger with questions. or for additional information.

- report an absence or a late arrival (call by 9 a.m.)
- request early dismissal, including for an appointment (call early in the day)
- request a bus pass for your student to go with another student (call early in the day)
- leave a school-related message for your student

BAKERS AND SELLERS NEEDED FOR THE MUSIC BOOSTERS BAKE SALE: Music Boosters needs volunteers for fundraising bake sales, which take place one each month, immediately after school in the Gateway Space. Volunteers are needed to donate baked goods and/or run sales. PLEASE REMEMBER that products must not contain or be cooked with nuts or nut products.
