Our programs are child-centered and use the Creative Curriculum approach to teaching. Students flourish in supportive, engaging environments. Teachers communicate regularly with families, and encourage enthusiasm for learning, the pride of accomplishment and the joy of discovery.

Both Conant and Lone Pine are fully-authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) schools. Our Fox Hills location is a Visible Thinking School.

BHMS FIRST Robotics Tech Challenge Team, "No Limits" to compete at FIRST Robotics North Super Regional, Cedar Rapids, IA

Good Luck to the BHMS FIRST FTC team "No Limits" as they travel to the FIRST Robotics North Super Regional event at the US Cellular Center/DoubleTree Convention Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, March 30-April 1. No Limits is one of fifteen teams competing in Iowa advancing from over 300 teams in Michigan. Seventy-two teams from eleven states will compete in the event hoping to advance to the FIRST Robotics World Championship. No Limits will be competing in the Kindig Division.

Representative McCready Visits BHHS Food Services

Representative McCready had lunch with the Bloomfield Hills High School Food Services to learn more about the program and daily challenges. McCready was very impressed by the selection, taste, and appearance of the food and how quickly students can get their meals. His visit was part of the Legislator to Lunch program, co-founded by food service director Mandy Sosnowski, for the School Nutrition Association of Michigan, in hopes that legislators can see first hand the benefits and challenges of school food service.

Sugarbush at the Johnson Nature Center

Students, families and community members enjoyed the annual Sugarbush event at the Johnson Nature Center. Visitors tapped the maple trees, gathered sap, tasted fresh maple syrup and candies, walked the trails, and saw inside the historical log cabin. Guides explained the differences in syrup flavor and color, tree genetics, weather conditions during the maple season, and how sugar is produced in the leaves during photosynthesis and flows down to be stored near the roots during the winter. MYP Personal Project Celebration Night

On March 20, 2017, the Bloomfield Hills High School sophomore class welcomed the Bloomfield community to share their International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme Projects they created throughout the school year. This project allows students to integrate the philosophies of IB into a project that is personally defined and student-driven. Families, friends and faculty enjoyed student projects and celebrated their hard work, dedication and ideas.
