Do you often feel inspired to help others and give back to your community? Are you looking for a unique way to gain volunteer experience? Bowers Farm offers many opportunities to volunteer during our annual events and during summer camp!

Annual Opportunities

  • Spring Clean-Up
  • Fall Clean-Up

Annual Community Events

  • Spring Fling
When the plants start sprouting and the babies have been born, Bowers Farm opens the gates to the public for our annual Spring Fling event. The Spring Fling event includes a pancake breakfast accompanied by a self-lead tour. We often need volunteers to support the variety of farm activities we have planned.

  • Fall Festival
During the month of October, Bowers Farm opens the gates for the public to come see the farm in fall! Our pumpkin patch is open for the public to explore and find the perfect pumpkin! The Fall Festival supports local businesses and gives friends of the farm groups an opportunity to show support to the community. We often need volunteers to support the variety of farm activities we have planned.

  • Summer Camp Stewardship Program
High school students, who have completed their freshman year, are encouraged to come join the Bowers Farm summer camp staff for two weeks of camp. The stewards are busy helping camp counselors deliver engaging lessons and assist in farm chores! Interested students should enjoy working with children and being outside. We look for stewards, with a “can-do” attitude who are not afraid to be silly, but can also take the initiative and be positive role-models to our campers.

If you are interested in any of our volunteering opportunities at the farm, please complete this interest form.

Fun on the Farm!
