The National Geographic GeoBee is an annual competition designed to inspire students' curiosity about the world. This year, East Hills is proud to recognize seventh-grader Patrick Fritz as our new National Geographic GeoBee champ. We are crossing our fingers that Patrick qualifies to compete at the state level.
Every year, students move from classroom bees to school-wide bees, and many compete at state and regional levels. This year, our East Hills spelling bee champion is eighth-grader Lauren Falzon. By mastering the winning word “hymnal”, Lauren is off to compete at the Oakland County Spelling Bee later this month. Go Lauren!

Our new superintendent, Mr. Watson, will be coming to East Hills for the day on March 4, 2020. He wants to see East Hills from the perspective of our students. Mr. Watson will spend the day shadowing a couple of students for a portion of the day. We want this opportunity to be available to all students. Thus, we are sharing this information with families as well as students, and all that you need to do is express your interest to be included in a drawing to determine our students who will be shadowed. We will conduct our drawing on February 25 so all entries need to be in by Monday, February 24, 2020. Please click HERE to register for the drawing! The form can be found online on our school webpage as well.
