National School Social Work Week is marked every first full week of March to celebrate school social workers across the nation and appreciate their work in helping students achieve positive outcomes both personally and academically.
Meet your school social workers.
School social workers are trained mental health professionals. They advocate for our students and create plans for teachers and parents to implement to help our students learn as effectively as possible. Proper social and emotional support is unique to each child, and they give that one-on-one attention providing the necessary tools and resources for a student's success. Please thank your BHS Social Workers for the wonderful things they do for all our students!
