The Nature Center has nearly 2 miles of mulched trails. The terrain includes both gentle rolling hills and flat areas. The distance around the perimeter trails is 9 tenths of a mile. There are no trash receptacles around the property so please carry out all refuse. Also, there are benches and picnic table throughout the trails.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at the Nature Center due to our enclosed wildlife and other animals that roam freely on the property.
Fees
There is no trail fee, however we do appreciate donations.
Cross Country Skiing
Cross Country Skiing is allowed on all trails but we do not "set" track. Also be aware that hikers continue to use the trails in winter.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is allowed on the trails. The Nature Center has rental shoes available for use on the property on selected weekends, based on applicable weather conditions.
Jogging
Jogging is allowed on the trails. Please be courteous of other trail users.
Restrooms
Restrooms are available at the Visitor Center.
Handicap Access
There are no paved trails. However, most of the trails are hard-packed so that wheel chairs and strollers can operate when conditions are dry. A hard-packed stone trail leads from the Visitor Center to the pond dock.
