Upcoming Car Parades and Clap Outs - Next Week!

8th Grade car parade and clap out is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.

  • 8th Grade Families, please plan to begin arriving at 12:50!
  • Yearbooks and recognition ceremony packets will be distributed as you exit the parade.

Students in grades 4 - 7 will have their parade/clap out on Friday, June 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Fourth and fifth-grade families will lead us off. 

  • 4 / 5  Families please begin arriving at 9:50
  • 6 / 7 Families please begin arriving at West Hills at 10:30

Needless to say, we have had a very unique year. We hope that you will plan to attend these events as a way to bring some closure for the year and to celebrate our students as we all move on to what we hope will be a healthier future!

If you are a parent or guardian of a seventh or eighth grade student, please review the appropriate letter regarding seventh and eighth grade reproductive health and communicable diseases instruction. Please find the letters at the links below. If you wish to review materials or have your student opt out of the instruction, please contact Mrs.Steaban in the main office as soon as possible. Instruction will begin in October.

The third annual district-wide Multicultural Celebration is set for the evening of Monday, March 30th, at Bloomfield Hills High School!  This event showcases cultures from around the globe, represented by our own Bloomfield Hills School district students and families.  If you enjoy planning events, love to celebrate cultural diversity, and like meeting parents from across the district, this is the committee for you!  The committee meets about once a month, and plans details like the event theme, the packet for participants, school communications, coordinating food and volunteers, and much more!  Please contact Leah Abel at leahabel@hotmail.com if you're interested!

West Hills Middle School continues to be a nut-restricted school. As a reminder, this also includes all field trips, sporting events, and all other before and after school events.
