Kidz Zone
Kidz Zone is Bloomfield Hills Schools’ before and after school care program and is available at our four elementary schools. Kidz Zone is a play-based program; activities include art, quiet study and reading areas, physical fitness, games, outdoor and indoor play.
Before school and after school care is available at all elementary schools (Conant, Eastover, Lone Pine, Way.) A minimum number of students are needed to run the program.
The Kidz Zone program starts the first day of school, and ends the last of the school year.

Activity Days available every scheduled half day (12:25 to 6 p.m.), including the first and last day of school.
- Kidz Zone students are eligible to attend half day care when it is offered. In order for a half day program to operate, there must be a minimum of 6 students enrolled at each location.
- Includes lunch: pizza, applesauce, baked chips, and 100% juice box (may substitute with similar items)
- Non-refundable fees:
- $55 if register five full school days before the half day
- $65 after the deadline, if space is available
- $75 if not registered one full school day before the activity day, if space is available

2024/25 Kidz Zone Registration
The Kidz Zone registration window was May 20-May 27. Families will receive notice of their registration status the week of June 10.
If a registration is submitted following May 27, you will be placed on a waitlist and be notified of status within 10 business days of the registration being received.
There is a $60 non-refundable registration fee due per child or $100 per family. Due to staffing restrictions, space is limited therefore; please make sure to register early to secure your placement.
All users must be scheduled for specific days and times (recurring weekly schedule.) Enrollment is subject to availability. If the program is full, your child will be placed on a waitlist.
Priority is given to students who will attend 5 days/week (morning and afternoon), then 5 days/week (morning or afternoon), then students will be considered in order of the days requested per week. Signing up for 5 days/week and changing to fewer days at a later date may result in placement on the waiting list. Please sign up for only the days you need.
One permanent schedule change allowed per semester, provided we can accommodate the change ($25 schedule change fee).
After you complete your online registration, you will receive a confirmation email with additional instructions. Please submit the required paperwork within three days, or your registration will be cancelled.
