Start the 2022 school year by joining Bloomfield Hills Schools and the Bloomfield PTOC for games and fun for all ages including animal visits from Bowers Farm, raffles, prizes, food, a video gaming truck, and performances from students! Stay for the Black Hawks home football game against Seaholm at 7 p.m. at the BHHS stadium. Go Blackhawks!

Play 1st Mobile Gaming is a unique gaming truck and trailer bringing six indoor screens with connections to Xbox One gaming consoles, comfortable seating and a massive selection of games in a temperature-controlled environment.

Meet Deaflympics Gold Medalist Brooke Thompson!
Bloomfield Hills Schools Athletics will be honoring Deaflympics Gold Medalist Brooke Thompson at Welcome Back Celebration and the Black Hawks Football Game!
As the guest of honor at the Welcome Back Celebration, Brooke will be available for photo opportunities and card signings at the BHS Athletics Table at BHHS from 4-7 pm.
During the Black Hawks football game, Brooke will run through the Black Hawks tunnel during Pregame and be seated in the VIP section at the endzone of the stadium to cheer on the Black Hawks. A recognition of Brooke’s accomplishments will take place during the half-time show.
Brooke Thompson (11th grade) of Bloomfield Hills Schools won a gold medal at the Deaflympics in Brazil in May 2022. Thompson, who attends International Academy-Central, swam as part of the Women's 4 X 100 Meter Freestyle relay team who came from behind to take first place in the race. Teammates Carli Cronk, Samantha Fujii, and Kaitlyn Weatherby joined Thompson on the podium. Thompson also placed 8th in the 200M Freestyle.
Brooke Thompson's Stats and Career
- Gold medalist at the 2022 Deaflympics in Brazil
- Placed 8th in the 200M Freestyle at the 2022 Deaflympics
- Holds the 50 meter freestyle Deaf American record at 27.34
- Set a new Deaf American record at the 2021 Michigan High School State Championships with a 23.81 in the 50 yard freestyle event
