Celebrate the Class of 2020
Dear Bloomfield Hills Schools Community,
As we approach graduation this Sunday, I have been reflecting on our incredible graduating Class of 2020. Though I did not get to know the Class of 2020 as well as I would have liked due to the ongoing health crisis, I have been incredibly impressed by their tenacity, strength, and community spirit. This has been an unpredictable and unprecedented school year and they have stepped up in ways that made our entire community proud.
The Class of 2020 has some impressive stats regarding their chosen futures, but more importantly, they have a spirit that is admirable and commendable. In the face of adversity, they rallied around their local community by volunteering for the elderly, supporting younger students, and ensuring those in need, have what they need. The Class of 2020 is a group that thinks first of others, prioritizes academics, and has an unwavering commitment to integrity.
After Sunday’s graduation event, they will spread out across the globe, taking classes in schools and universities across the nation and world, launching into careers, and taking time for self-exploration and discovery. The following map reflects just a few of the schools our students have selected for the fall, showing the rich diversity of their academic futures.
In addition to those attending school in the fall, we have students who will be launching into career choices, taking time to learn more about the world and themselves, and serving our nation by enlisting in the military. To those who have chosen to serve: We thank you for your service to our country and wish you a safe military career.
I am impressed with the Class of 2020, I am proud to share that..

Throughout the next year and beyond, we will keep a close eye on the Class of 2020 and I am confident we are going to see tremendous global contributions from this year’s graduates. I invite the entire community to virtually attend graduation on Sunday:
To the Class of 2020: Thank you for your resilience, for being role models for our younger students, and for the many gifts you have given each of us as you shared your talents throughout your Bloomfield Hills Schools education. We have enjoyed watching you grow and wish you well in the next chapter of your lives. Please stay in touch with those who care about you and want to see what’s next. Remember this will always be a place for you to call “home” and we are always here to guide and support you.
