Key Coded Snowmen

Kindergartner Markus Southward shares his excitement, "It was fun making my own special snowman!"   Paraprofessional Rebecca Boss explains, "The students created their own snowman using a key.  For example, depending on the favored activity they enjoy in the snow the boots are colored differently: sledding - purple boots, building forts - red boots, throwing snowballs - black boots.  Many other distinguishing factors such as head covering, gloves or mittens, a scarf pattern, button shape, and so on help each child create their unique snowman."   Kindergartner Izzy Slutsky, admiring all the snowmen in the hallway, adds "See how different they all look!"
